Dr John Weir is an accredited Criminal Law Specialist (Law Society of NSW) with over 30 years of courtroom and advocacy experience in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina.
He began as a prosecutor in Local and Children’s Courts, then worked as a solicitor with the Legal Aid Commission of NSW on regional circuits. Called to the NSW Bar in 2002, he has appeared as counsel in hundreds of trials across the District and Supreme Courts. He regularly represents clients in Local, Children’s, and District Courts as both solicitor and advocate.
John provides comprehensive criminal defence, including early advice during police investigations, bail applications, defended hearings, committals, jury trials, sentencing, appeals, and AVO proceedings.
